
The Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources is participating in the 2024 African Mining Indaba Conference, held in Cape Town, South Africa.
His Excellency the Deputy Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources for Mining Affairs, Eng. Khalid Al-Mudaifer, inaugurated the Kingdom's pavilion at the conference under the umbrella of "Invest in Saudi Arabia," which includes the Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources, the Ministry of Investment, the Geological Survey Authority, and several private sector entities.
The Kingdom's agenda at the conference includes holding a session titled "Unlocking Exploration Potential in Saudi Arabia: Collaboration, Innovation, and Sustainability," which highlights various aspects of the exploration sector in the Kingdom, including its potential, sustainability efforts, collaboration opportunities, technological progress, and economic contributions. The session will also focus on industry trends and its future prospects.
The Kingdom's participation also includes showcasing the development of the mining sector in Saudi Arabia, enhancing Saudi value propositions, promoting the Kingdom’s mining objectives, and attracting global investors to the Kingdom by highlighting exploration opportunities.
It is worth noting that the "Invest in Saudi Arabia" pavilion aims to enhance communication with international investors and provide a clear image of the investor journey, showcasing the Kingdom's rich mineral resources, positioning Saudi Arabia to lead the global mining sector.
