The Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources, Mr. Bandar bin Ibrahim Al-Khorayef, and his accompanying delegation visited the Technical University of Munich during his official visit to the Federal Republic of Germany.
The visit focused on the university's facilities and academic programs, as well as touring the university's main laboratory to explore the latest engineering technologies in the fields of artificial intelligence and the Fourth Industrial Revolution. The visit also included discussions on collaboration and partnership in research and specialized academic studies in the industrial and mining sectors.
It is noteworthy that the Minister's visit to Germany aims to reaffirm the Kingdom's plans to position the industrial and mining sectors as strategic options under Saudi Vision 2030 to diversify the economic base, open doors for investors worldwide, and introduce the enabling factors, incentives, and promising investment opportunities in these sectors.
