His Excellency, Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources, Bandar bin Ibrahim Al-Khorayef, met today at his office with a delegation from the People's Republic of China, headed by Wu Weidong, a member of the Standing Committee of the Hebei Provincial Committee and Secretary of the Tangshan Municipal Party Committee.

The meeting focused on discussing ways to enhance cooperation between the two countries in the industrial and mining sectors, with an emphasis on the economic and trade partnership between Saudi Arabia and the People's Republic of China across various sectors. The discussions also addressed attracting high-quality investments in the industrial and mining sectors.

The meeting also covered the competitive advantages of both Saudi Arabia and China in several promising industries, and ways to increase non-oil trade between the two countries. Saudi non-oil exports to China exceeded 37 billion riyals in 2022, while imports amounted to more than 147 billion riyals.
