Issuance of a Surplus Ore License
Beneficiaries of the Service
Individuals and companies can apply for a Surplus Ore License after meeting all conditions and requirements.
How to Apply for the Service
For individuals: Fill out the required forms and submit them to the Ministry by visiting the branch.
For companies: Submit the application through Taadeen Platform V1.0
After meeting the following conditions:
- The applicant must be the owner of the land or the project.
- The minerals must fall under Class (C).
- The land must not be agricultural, as a surplus ore license cannot be issued on agricultural land.
Service Application Procedures
- Fill out the Surplus Ore License application form.
- Specify the area of the site from which ores are to be transported, along with its geographical coordinates.
- Specify the type and quantity of ores intended for use.
- Provide proof of land or project ownership.
- Submit the necessary permits from the relevant authorities allowing work at the site (e.g., a clearance letter from the municipality).
- Provide the required commitments related to surplus ores license requirements and environmental compliance.
License Duration
The duration of the Surplus Ore License is one year.
Surplus Ore License Issuance Fees
- Application Submission Fee: 10,000 .
- License Issuance Fee: 20,000 .
