Issuance of a Building Materials Quarry License – Public Projects

 

How to Apply for the Service

You can submit a request to issue a Building Materials Quarry License for public projects through Taadeen Platform - v1.0 , after fulfilling the following conditions:

  • The applicant must be the main contractor contracted by the project’s owning entity.
  • The requested license duration must not exceed the duration of the project contract.
  • The applicant must not have any outstanding payments due to the Ministry related to any license.
  • There must be no licensed sites or mining complexes containing the required minerals within a 60 km radius of the project site.

 

Service Application Procedures

  • Complete the application form.
  • Submit a letter of support from the government entity owning the project.
  • Attach the required permits from the relevant authorities.
  • Submit an environmental impact management plan and a rehabilitation program.
  • Provide the financial guarantee.

 

License Area

It must not exceed 0.25 square kilometers.

 

License Duration

The requested license duration must not exceed the duration of the project contract.

 

Issuance Fees for a Building Materials Quarry License for Public Projects

  • Application Submission Fee: 10,000 .
  • License Issuance Fee: 20,000 .
